My doctoral thesis; it's been described as "too
long" (by my thesis committee) and "kind of boring" (by some people who have
actually read it). But there is a drawing of a penguin near the
beginning (not made by me) and some very colourful maps near the end (made
by me).
Personally, I reccommend reading the executive summary instead.
My campaign journals:
- The BLAST test-flight, Fort Sumner, New Mexico, USA — August–September, 2003
- The BLAST mission readiness review, Palestine, Texas, USA — February, 2005
- The BLAST LDB flight, Esrange (Kiruna), Norbottens, Sweden — April–June, 2005
- The BLAST mission readiness review, Palestine, Texas, USA — July–August, 2006
- The BLAST LDB flight, Willy Field (McMurdo Station), Antarctica — October 2006–January 2007
- The Keck Array deployment, Amundsen-Scott Station (South Pole), Antarctica — December 2010–February 2011
And, of course, an ASCII trout: <><!
Content elsewhere:
- My photos on
Flickr (NB: a fair number of my photographs on Flickr are visible
only to family or friends. If you think you fall into one of these groups
but don't know how to view the missing photos, contact me and I'll set
you up.)
- GetData, a C library
for interfacing with a database format for scientfic data which I
maintain.
That's it for now. Cheers, and have fun. —dvw/kt
